Since Tennie May (Calhoun-Herndon) Mabry and Harley G Mabry were known to be living in Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz County, California in 1953, [CaDoHS-2000c] is assumed to be the death record for Harley. [12]
Harley George Mabry was the eldest son of Colonel Canfield Mabry and Emaline Sarah Sinyard. In [US-1880-1z] Harley’s father is enumerated as “Rernel” (possibly “Rennie”), and his mother is enumerated as “Emiline”. In 1900, Harley is living with his grandparents, Henry and Sarah Sinyard in Hardin Township, Faulkner County, Arkansas. [2, 6, 7]
Harley George Mabry was cremated, but his ashes were buried with his wife, Tennie May Calhoun, upon her death in 1977. [13]
Harley George Mabry appears to have had family in the Galveston area in 1924. [3]
Harley George Mabry frequently lists “Real Estate” as his occupation. Given his presence in many oil producing locations in Texas and Oklahoma, it is likely that he was engaged in the buying and selling of mineral interests (contracts for oil producing tracts). [1, 9]
