    • [LDS-AF-2002a] lists death at Cedar Bluff, Tennessee (with burial at Cedar Bluff Cemetery) but this conflicts with [Stiles-Cemetery-1875a] which convincingly places burial at Stiles Cemetery in Lincoln County, Tennessee. [5, 6, 7]
    • [LDS-AF-1999f] and [Stratton-2002b] list James Stiles’ birth place as merely “Laurens, S.c.” It is not known if he was actually born in the town of Laurens. [3, 6]
    • Stiles Cemetery is located approximately 2 miles east-northeast of Kelso, Lincoln County, Tennessee at coordinates [35.1353, -86.4206]. [3]
