    • [Stiles-1986] and [Stiles-1998] list Regina Elizabeth Stiles’ husband as “Robert W Wallace” b. (unknown), d. 16 Sep 1945, Temple, Bell County, Texas. However, almost all first-hand sources, including [TxDoH-1930a] and [TxDoH-1934a], as well as both the 1920 and 1930 US Federal Census records for Rockdale, Milam County, Texas indicate that this individual is Dr. Robert Wilcox Wallis, b. 17 Aug 1873 in Arkansas, d. 5 May 1934, Rockdale, Milam County, Texas. The latter four sources are consistent in their listing of Robert’s birthdate, birth location, age, and residence from approximately 1895 through the mid-1930’s. [3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10]
    • Robert Wilcox Wallis parents were Dr. Robert S Wallis and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Wilcox. Lizzie (Wilcox) Wallis was living with her son in 1910, presumably after the death of her husband. [4, 10]
