  • Notes 
    • A second Rebecca Young exists, born in 1759 to Thomas and Mary Young of Barnstable. But this Rebecca Young appears to have married Dr. John Young in 1776, and in their marriage intention record, although very hard to read, at least one of the individuals appears to has listed themselves as, “…of Eastham”. Consequently, the evidence that our Rebecca Young is the daughter of Jonathan and Rebecca Young of Wellfleet is more likely. [1]
