  [Nix-2000] has the following note from Richard Nix, attributed to his uncle Vincent Evans Jr., who remembers: “…his father, Vincent Evans Sr. telling him that his first wife Mary Guyton Evans was buried in the Friendship Presbyterian (Puckett's) Cemetery.” [2] Given the death date for Mary Guyton recorded in [Nix-2000], it’s likely that she died in childbirth.
