  • Notes
    • That Anton Henschenmacher died in Lamartine, Fond du Lac County is a deduction based on his being enumerated in the 1870 US Federal Census in the household of his daughter Maria Agnes (Henschenmacher) Schaefer and the fact that he is buried at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church Cemetery. [1, 3, 4]
    • Although listed as having been born in Prussia in the 1860 US Federal Census, depending on where exactly Anton Henschenmacher’s family were living in 1767, his birthplace may have been part of France. [1]
