  • Notes
    • John Albert Nelson’s parents were Mathias and Anna M Nelson. [2]
    • John Albert and Emily Ann (Eastman) Nelson were living with Emily’s parents, Warren and Rachel Young (Cole) Eastman at the time of the enumeration of 1870 US Federal census. However, both Emily and John are listed as single, and John is listed as a “boarder” in the Eastman home in Chelsea. It may be the case that the census information was gathered before the date of John and Emily’s marriage in May of that year. [1, 4]
