    • Unlike his elder sisters Eveline and Mabel, Charles’ surname at birth was listed as “Dean”. However, when he married Teresa E. Alden it was listed as “Deane”, and, like his siblings, his used the latter spelling of his surname throughout most of his life. [6, 7]
