  • Notes 
    • Although the information in [US-NARA-2004a] is not conclusive as to whether this is Richard, the brother of Robert Fairbanks that emigrated with him to the US, a number of facts make more sense in light of this record. First, the birth date around 1863, would make this individual the second eldest son of Richard Fairbanks and Euphemia Thomson. Second, this is the only passenger manifest discovered to date that contains a ‘Richard Fairbanks’ that emigrated to the US in 1888, the same year as his younger brother Robert. [4]
