This is an assumption until verification can be obtained. [1, 2] The obituaries quoted in source [Saint-Johns-1920a] indicate that Frederick William and Josephine Anna (Bertrand) Gootee had 10 or 11 children, 8 of which were still alive in 1910 and six of which were still alive in 1920.
