Notes |
- Jonathan Linnell and Priscilla Gould entered their intention to marry in the Harwich town records, 30 Nov 1751. Sources that list this date as the marriage date are probably incorrect despite the fact that no supporting evidence has been found for the 9 Jan 1753 marriage date listed in LDS IGI. [2]
- To date, searches of Eastham and Harwich vital records have turned up no supporting evidence for the birth dates and locations of the children (with the exception of Benjamin). Furthermore, the LDS-IGI dates should be treated as suspect since only three (Thankful, Molly, and Fabas) claim to be derived from vital records, and Benjamin, the one child known to have been born in Eastham, is listed as derived from an LDS Patron Sheet. Additional research is required, especially in the Eastham records in [Holbrook,1997b], due to the poor condition of the records. [6]
