  According to her daughter’s birth certificate [Lamar-1942a], Louvena Presley and Joseph Benjamin Herndon had at least one older child in 1891. [3] In 1942 Louvena Presley was living in Healdton, Carter County, Oklahoma with her second husband. [3] There are three Tennessee locations named “Laurel Hill,” in Chester, De Kalb, and Lawrence counties. It is not known which of these was the birth place of Louvena Calloway Presley. [5]
