  Daniel Eastman was a revolutionary war soldier serving from 3 May 1775 to Aug 1775 in Capt. Joshua Bragdon’s company of the Thirtieth Massachusetts Regiment. He also served from Aug 14 1777 to Nov 30 1777 in Capt. James Littlefields company and from 30 Mar 1778 to 3 Jul 1778 in Capt. Samuel Waterhouse’s company. Daniel Eastman lived for some time in Sanford and Cornish Maine before settling in Parsonsfield.
