    • During the enumeration of the 1930 US Federal Census, William Henry Herndon, his wife, and son were living in the household of his younger brother, Oscar Cleveland Herndon. [4]
    • [TxDoSHS-1966b] lists William Henry Herndon Sr.’s place of death as Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas. But this source also lists that Mr. Herndon was “DOA”. Therefore, since most sources list William Henry Herndon’s last residence in Kirbyville, Jasper County, Texas, it is assumed that he died at home or in route to Beaumont. [11]
