    • The obituary of James Eastman, [Exeter-1932] and [US-1900-1b] both agree that Silas’ surname is “Manwaring,” not “Manwarren” as stated in Letter to Robert Stanley Fairbanks from Herbert Warren Tutein. [2, 6, 11]
    • Silas S. Manwaring’s parents were Aronzo F. Manwaring and Arabella Levoe. [5, 12]
