  • Notes 
    • Lydia Louisa “Bonnie” (Tutein) Strout is listed as widowed and was living with her daughter in her father’s house in Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts in June of 1900. At this point, and in most vital records from this date forward, Lydia inverted her first and middle names, preferring to use “Louisa L”. It is not clear where the name “Bonnie”, found in most Tutein family sources, comes from, but there is no question that Bonnie Tutein and Lydia Louisa Tutein are the same woman. [2, 4]
    • Lydia Louisa (Tutein) Strout and her husband were living with Alfred’s parents in 1880, in a house that was next door to the residence of Lydia’s uncle, Joseph Andrew Tutein. [7]
