 #   Notes   Linked to
Stratham Heights Road Adams, Mildred G (I5026)

Sunrise Mausoleum Tutein, Mildred Estelle (I62)

Sunrise Mausoleum Freed, Karl B (I64)

Susan Belle Collins, Delilah Ann (Langford) Collins’ youngest daughter, was born 18 May 1867. Miller Collin’s parents indicated in a letter sent from Arkansas in December 1867 that that Delilah Ann had already passed away. Consequently, this database assumes that Delilah passed away sometime between May and December of 1867. Langford, Delilah Ann (I2340)

Susan Cheney Lambert was a resident of Rockland, Knox County, Maine at the time of her marriage Albert Edward Tutein. Lambert, Susan Cheney (I239)

Susan Cheney Lambert’s parents were Thomas W Lambert of Steuben, Washington County, Maine and Lucinda Thaxter of Machias, Washington County, Maine. Lambert, Susan Cheney (I239)

Susan M. Bertrand’s father is very likely to be “Joseph [Nicholas] Hyacinth Bertrand,” who died 28 Dec 1851 in Loogootee, Martin County, Indiana. Three of Joseph Hyacinth Bertrand’s known children from source [] align with the children listed in the home of H. Bertrand in the 1850 US Federal Census for Martin County, Indiana. Bertrand, Susan M (I3882)

Tennie’s parents, James Marion Calhoun and Sarah Elizabeth (Turpin) Calhoun, served as witnesses for the marriage license application and marriage certificate. Family: Robert Boyd Herndon / Tennie May Calhoun (F804)

Teresa E. Alden’s parents were W. George and Mabel (Lawrence) Alden. Alden, Teresa E (I5046)

Thankful Hopkins probably died between 8 Dec 1743, the date of her marriage to her second husband John Paine, and 28 Nov 1854, the date John Paine married his third wife, Mercy (Higgens) Treat. Hopkins, Thankful (I3748)

Thankful Hopkins was a resident of Harwich at the time of her marriage to Thomas Linnell. Hopkins, Thankful (I3748)

That Anton Henschenmacher died in Lamartine, Fond du Lac County is a deduction based on his being enumerated in the 1870 US Federal Census in the household of his daughter Maria Agnes (Henschenmacher) Schaefer and the fact that he is buried at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church Cemetery. Henschenmacher, Anton (I4244)

That Edwin Gunn Holbrook shares the same buried plot with his wife Margaret is an assumption but is not indicated by the information from source [Willows-Cemetery-2011a] Holbrook, Edwin Gunn (I3876)

That Everett Torrey Tutein died in Albany, Albany County, New York is a deduction based on his residence at the time of the enumeration of the 1930 US Federal Census (only 3 months earlier) and the listing of his two sons in the same city directory that lists his death date. Tutein, Everett Torrey (I189)

That Frederick Tutein and Carrie Hawkes married in Chelsea, Suffolk County has not be conclusively established. The fact is merely a likely inference based on where they registered their marriage and the fact that both were residents of Chelsea at the time of their marriage. Family: Frederick Constantine Tutein / Carrie M Hawkes (F135)

That this infant son of Constantine Dedriech and Louisa (Sawyer) Tutein was born in Chelsea is an assumption based on the fact that his parents were know to be living in Chelsea from the late 1850s on. This individual is also the first of two sons to have been named Joseph. The second was born approximately 5 years later in late 1869. Tutein, Joseph (I4231)

The 15 Jan 1891 marriage date for John Lawson Herndon and Margaret E Patterson, listed in [Herndon-1950a], is clearly incorrect. Unless all of John Lawson Herndon and Margaret E Patterson’s children were illegitimate, they must have been married about 1870 or 1871. In fact, “15 Jan 1871” corresponds well to the birthdate of their eldest son, William Pickney Herndon. Herndon, John Lawson (I2248)

The 1841/1851 Irish Census Abstracts are not clear about the actual date of the census. For instance, the age listed for Margaret conflicts with her likely age at the time of her emmigration. However, this is the only record for a Daniel McGinley with a wife “Margaret” living in County Donegal. Additional research is required. McGinley, Daniel (I2359)

The 1841/1851 Irish Census Abstracts had numerous references to persons that had died or that had emigrated by the time the census was recorded. If Margaret McGinley was recorded by her family in 1851, after her emigration to America, the discrepancy regarding her age can be explained. However, more research is required. McGinley, Margaret (I640)

The 1850 US Federal Census for Cleveland County, North Carolina lists Delilah Ann Langford’s name as “Dilly A Lankford”. Langford, Delilah Ann (I2340)

The 1850 US Federal Census for Cleveland County, North Carolina lists Derinda Langford’s name as “Ducinda Lankford”. Langford, Derinda (I2338)

The 1850 US Federal Census for Cleveland County, North Carolina lists Susan Belle Langford’s name as “Susannah Lankford”. Langford, Susan Belle (I2339)

The 1850 US Federal Census for Dodge County, Wisconsin lists Heinrich’s surname as “Boden”. Budahn, Christian Heinrich (I728)

The 188O US Federal Census for Manannah, Meeker County, Minnesota incorrectly reports Julia (Maloney) O’Keefe’s birth year as approx. 1830. The 1875 Minnesota State Census incorrectly reports Julia (Maloney) O’Keefe’s birth year as approx. 1839. Maloney, Julia (I1043)

The 1900 US Federal Census for Lamar County, Texas has Nannie Herndon born in March of 1896. Herndon, Nannie Zue (I2072)

The 1900 US Federal Census lists John Lawson Herndon’s birthdate as “Aug 1850” but this conflicts with the birthdate of his older brother George Wallace Herndon. Herndon, John Lawson (I2248)

The 1900 US Federal Census lists the birthdate of “Mary C Herndon” as September 1879, suspiciously close to the calculated birthdate of “Lula Herndon”, listed in the 1880 US Federal Census. For this reason, “Lula” and “Mary C” are probably same person. Herndon, Mary C (I3289)

The 1920 US Federal Census indicates that Robert Herbert Sharp was born in Louisiana. Sharp, Robert Herbert (I5155)

The actual marriage entry from [Nix-2000] reads, “Bartow County, Georgia, Book M, Page 127,” as if it is a source rather than a statement of the marriage location. Additional research is needed. Family: Robert W. Powell / Sarah Henrietta Wofford (F3191)

The actual marriage entry from [Nix-2000] reads, “Pickens County, Georgia, Book 1854-78, Page 3,” as if it is a source rather than a statement of the marriage location. Additional research is needed. Family: William H McClure / Dezorus Langford (F3124)

The age listed for David Firth in both the 1851 and 1861 English census returns is consistent with [Fairbanks-1978] Firth, David (I53)

The assumption that Anne Stiles was born before 1852 is based on the order of the children as supplied in the GEDCOM file of Diane Anderson. Stiles, Anna (I1974)

The assumption that William Alexander Stiles was born before 1852 is based on the order of the children as supplied in the GEDCOM file of Diane Anderson. Stiles, William Alexander (I1972)

The Bartow Herald, Cartersville, Georgia, Thursday, January 19, 1956 Evans, Beulah Lee (I4702)

The birth and death dates and locations are based on a single matching SSDI record for a “Marion Garland” who was born around 1907 and who died near Transfer, Mercer County, Pennsylvania (the last know residence of Marion Garland and her son Douglas). Graustein, Marion Emily (I2141)

The birth and death of the first child of Ella and Ola Nilsson named Otto is listed as having happened in 1885/86 in source [Alden-1888]. However, given that the birthdate of the younger brother, Otto Anton, is also a decade off, this database uses dates in the 1870’s because they fit most of the available evidence. Lindell, Otto (I5099)

The birth date listed on Elizabeth (Todd) Grice’s headstone conflicts with the date listed in [Todd-1998], 4 Oct 1815. Todd, Elizabeth (I839)

The birth date of 26 Feb 1895 is supported by sources [TxDoH-1973a] and [US-SSA-SSDI]. Dunne, Edward Anthony Sr. (I3299)

The birth date of 28 Oct 1849, listed in [LDS-IGI-2002b] is incorrect. Nilsson, Nils (I1994)

The birth dates of David and Martha (Shaw) Firth and their four daughters were listed on a sampler embroidered by their daughter, Mary. Robert Stanley Fairbanks noted this fact and the dates in [Fairbanks-1978]. However, by the time of Ruth Edna (Tutein) Fairbanks’ death, that sampler had been lost. It has not been discovered in the years since. Firth, David (I53)

The birth place listed for Henry Eastman Day in the LDS Ancestral File database, is highly suspect. Day, Henry Eastman (I3207)

The birthdate for John George Watson is calculated from the notation of his ‘Age at Death’, “72 years, 11 months, 11 days” in [AoO-1934a]. The birth year, as listed in that source, is 1862. Watson, John George (I915)

The birthdate of 16 Oct 1858 as well as the birth name of “Maria Nilsson”, listed in [LDS-IGI,2002a], are incorrect. Nilsdotter, Maria (I2381)

The birthdate of 26 Jan 1910 for Levis Chalmers Wiggins obtained from [Morgan-2016] is corroborated by source [US-SSA-SSDI], the US Social Security Death Index Master file. 26 Jan 1909, listed in source [Stiles-1986] is incorrect. Wiggins, Levis Chalmers (I1710)

The birthdate of Lena Mae Wilson, as recorded in the compilation of Edith Jordan Stiles, is 11 Dec 1925 (impossible) but is probably 11 Dec 1905 as recorded in SSDI. Wilson, Lena Mae (I1612)

The birthdate “11 Jul 1909” listed in [Stiles-1986] has no supporting evidence. Sources [Taylor-City-2002b] and [US-SSA-SSDI] both list Wilburn A Witerrowd’s birthdate as “11 Jul 1907”. Winterrowd, Wilburn A (I1230)

The Cartersville News, Cartersville, Georgia, Thursday, September 10, 1908 Family: Luther Colquitt Richards, Sr / Anna Belle Stephens (F3185)

The cause of death, as listed on the Elizabeth Marina Masten’s death certificate, is “infantile paralysis,” a common term for polio. Masten, Elizabeth Marina (I115)

The cemetery plot containing Alice A Karrh was purchased by Richard Landrum Draper 2 days after her death. Thus, it is more likely that Alice was the second wife of Richard rather than the wife of Robert Wilkins Draper, who also shares the plot. Karrh, Alice A (I3302)

The compilation of Edith Jordan Stiles has birth and death at Thorndale, Milam County, Texas. Stiles, Boyd Conoley (I1420)
