| Although listed as having been born in Prussia in the 1860 US Federal Census, depending on where exactly Anton Henschenmacher’s family were living in 1767, his birthplace may have been part of France. | Henschenmacher, Anton (I4244)
| Although Loisa Augusta Koepsel (Koebsel?) is also referred to as “Augusta” in [US-1870-1l], it is assumed that this individual is a different child of August and Caroline, as the age difference is too great. | Koebsel, Augusta (I4105)
| Although many census records refer to “Gertrude F Bradford,” most vital records refer to “Flora Gertrude Bradford”. | Bradford, Flora Gertrude (I2622)
| Although she arrived at Boston in 1904, Elizabeth Fairbanks passage was paid all the way to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Unfortunately the reproduction of source [US-NARA-1904b] is so poor, there is considerable additional information that cannot be deciphered. | Fairbanks, Elizabeth (I4089)
| Although the dates of Willis’ birth and death can be read from the gravestone photograph, the years are much harder to discern. 1846 as the year of his birth, is consistent with [US-1860-1f] but not with [US-1870-1i]. | Grice, Willis Carpenter (I840)
| Although the death place of Thomas Milton Draper is not given in _Draper Families in America_, it is very likely that he died in Calhoun County, Alabama. | Draper, Thomas Milton (I2108)
| Although the death place of Thomas Percy Draper is not given in _Draper Families in America_, it is very likely that he died in Calhoun County, Alabama. | Draper, Thomas Percy (I2200)
| Although the grave marker for Eula Virginia (Stiles) Bond lists her husband, E. W. Bond, he is actually buried with his second wife at Cherokee Cemetery, Cherokee, San Saba County, Texas. | Stiles, Eula Virginia (I1531)
| Although the information in [US-NARA-2004a] is not conclusive as to whether this is Richard, the brother of Robert Fairbanks that emigrated with him to the US, a number of facts make more sense in light of this record. First, the birth date around 1863, would make this individual the second eldest son of Richard Fairbanks and Euphemia Thomson. Second, this is the only passenger manifest discovered to date that contains a ‘Richard Fairbanks’ that emigrated to the US in 1888, the same year as his younger brother Robert. | Fairbanks, Richard Alexander (I3980)
| Although there are many women named “Nellie” with a daughter named “Rose” listed in the 1920 US Federal Census for Missouri and Kansas, numerous facts indicate that our Nellie was in fact married to Charles D. Corp and living in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri. First the father and mother of the Nellie listed both in source [US-1920-2s] and in source [US-1930-1j] were born in Kentucky and North Carolina, respectively. In addition, the ages of Nellie’s daughters match and Nellie is listed as their mother in both of their original US Social Security applications. Consequently, the fact that Nellie M. Masten from [US-1930-1j] and Nelly M. Corp from [US-1920-2s] are, in fact, the same person, is well supported. | Hopkins, Nellie M (I3851)
| Although there is an LDS IGI record of this Ola Nilsson, it is presumed that he died before the birth of his older brother Ola. | Nilsson, Ola (I2380)
| Although they married in 1962, there is evidence that Gwendaline Marguerite (Bennett) Herndon and Joseph D. Hambrick may have been living together as early as 1952. | Bennett, Gwendaline Marguerite (I2142)
| Although [Fairbanks-1978] indicates that William Lowe emigrated to the US at the same time as his elder brother Samuel, his presence in the England and Wales Census Returns in 1871 indicates otherwise. [US-1910-1p] also indicates that William Lowe emigrated in 1872 rather than 1869 or 1870 with his older brother’s family. | Lowe, William (I41)
| Although [Greifswald-1820b] does not list Anna Maria Budahn’s place of birth, it does state that she was “of Dannenberg”. Since there is no indication that Anna Maria ever lived elsewhere, and all her siblings were born in Dannenberg, it is safe to assume that she was also born in Dannenberg. | Budahn, Anna Maria (I4242)
| Although [LDS-IGI-1997a] indicates that Jeremiah Eastman was born around 1820 in Parsonsfield, York County, Maine, it is unlikely that he was born in the same year, or was a twin, of Warren Eastman. Furthermore, the LDS information is inconsistent with every US Federal Census record from 1850 through 1870 which give ages for Jeremiah of 20, 28, and 43 respectively. Consequently, it is more likely that Jeremiah was actually the youngest of John and Betsey (Day) Eastman’s sons and was born around 1830 or 1831. | Eastman, Jeremiah (I2177)
| Although [Oceanview-1955a] lists the exact date of Blanche (Tutein) Foster’s death, her marker only lists the year, “1955”. Additional research is needed to determine the date conclusively. | Tutein, Blanche (I192)
| Although [Stiles-1971] claims that Amanda and Miranda Thomas were born in 1859, they do not appear in the Eighth Census of the United States for Selma, Dallas County, Alabama. [US-1870-1i] has the twins listed as 11 years old in 1870, but this is probably a mistake. Finally, [US-1920-1j] has Amanda listed as 57 years old in 1920, which correlates with the only discovered birthdate, 9 Nov 1862 (unverified information from the LDS IGI). | Thomas, Amanda (I836)
| Although [Stiles-1971] claims that Amanda and Miranda Thomas were born in 1859, they do not appear in the Eighth Census of the United States for Selma, Dallas County, Alabama. [US-1870-1i] lists the twins as 11 years old in 1870, but this is probably a mistake. Finally, [US-1920-1j] has Miranda’s sister Amanda listed as 57 years old in 1920, which correlates with the only discovered birthdate for the twins, 9 Nov 1862 (unverified information from the LDS IGI). | Thomas, Miranda (I837)
| Although [WHS-1880a] does not list this individual’s name, there is no question it records the birth of John, 5th child of Casper and Catherine (Schaefer) Hoffman. John’s parent’s surnames, in addition to the given names of all 4 of his elder siblings are correctly identified in the record. The listed birth month also coincides with the month listed in source [US-1900-1k]. | Hoffman, John (I1152)
| Although [WHS-1889a] does not list this individual’s name, it is very likely that it records the birth of Henrietta, youngest daughter of Casper and Catherine (Schaefer) Hoffman. Henrietta’s parent’s surname are correctly identified in the record, and the month of this individual’s birth coincides with the month listed in [US-1900-1k]. | Hoffman, Henrietta (I4138)
| Alvin M. Bonnell does not appear again in US census records, but given his age during the enumeration of the 1850 census, he may be a twin of Ann M. Bonnell. | Bonnell, Alvin M (I4179)
| Alvira J Tutein and Josephine E Tutein are the same individual. [NEHGS-1868b] lists Josephine as being 2 years, 1 month, and 9 days old on the day she died. Not counting the day of her death, this places her birth on 6 Apr 1866, matching the date from [NEHGS-1866b] exactly. Consequently, this database assumes that “J” in the birth record stood for “Josephine” and “E” in the death record stood for “Elvira,” a common alternate spelling for Alvira. | Tutein, Alvira Josephine (I4232)
| Amanda Ella Benson, the 2nd wife of Rufus Washington Stiles, marred once prior and twice after Rufus’ death in 1929. She had two children by her first marriage. | Benson, Amanda Ella (I5299)

| An additional entry in [Greifswald-1824a] lists a date of 4 February 1824. This may be the date Johann Budahn was buried. | Budahn, Johann (I1115)
| An additional entry in [Greifswald-1832a] lists a date of 28 December 1832. This may be the date Wilhelmina Friderice Caroline Budahn was buried. | Budahn, Wilhelmine Friderice Caroline (I4276)
| An additional entry in [Greifswald-1833a] lists a date of 2 August 1833. This may be the date Hanna Friederica Dorothea Budahn was buried. | Budahn, Hanna Friederica Dorothea (I4279)
| An Auguste Budahn (b. 4 Nov 1859, d. Feb 1860) is listed at Hochheim Church Cemetery. It is not clear if this is Auguste sone of Freidrich Budahn and Caroline Fricks. | Budahn, Auguste (I4017)
| An infant boy born on a wagon train to California and buried in Tuscon, Arizona. | Stone, child-5 (I1196)
| An niece, “Anna O’Keefe”, is enumerated in James McCarney’s household in 1900. However, no O’Keefe niece by that name has been discovered yet. This woman may be the older sister of a niece, “Julia” enumerated with James’ son Patrick in the same census record. | McCarney, James M (I336)
| An niece, “Julia”, is enumerated in Patrick W and Margeret (O’Keefe) McCarney’s household in 1900. However, no McCarney or O’Keefe niece by that name has been discovered yet. | McCarney, Patrick W (I135)
| An “Alice Frances Masten,” who died on 10 Mar 1916, is found in [SoLAD-2002a]. This is probably the “Alice F Stone[US-1970e]. However, The date of death and age at death both conflict with information from [George-2002]. Additional research is required. | Stone, Alice Frances (I2387)
| Andreas Hoffman, along with his parents and siblings, must have emigrated from Bavaria in 1853 as his younger sister, Mary, was born at sea. | Hoffman, Andreas (I4128)
| Andrew Jackson Eastman’s headstone gives his age at death as, “29 years, 5 months, and 25 days”. This places his birth on 3 Oct 1817, which concurs with [Rix-1901]. | Eastman, Andrew Jackson (I3230)

| Ann M. Bonnell does not appear in the 1850 US Federal Census. Rather a brother, Alvin M., is listed, but it is not known if such a brother actually existed and died before the enumeration of the 1860 census, or the entry for Alvin is merely incorrect and should refer to Ann instead. | Bonnell, Ann M (I4080)
| Ann M. Burch’s parents were Sherwood Increase Burch and Marth Ann (Weiss-Burch) Ivey. | Burch, Ann Marvel (I2662)

| Anna Maria’s surname which is almost impossible to read in [Greifswald-1823a] and [Greifswald-1820b], is quite clearly “Budahns” in [Greifswald-1821a], but since she appears to be a daughter of Johann Budahn and Maria Fromholzen, her surname is listed as “Budahn” in alignment with her other bothers and sisters. | Budahn, Anna Maria (I4242)
