    The obituary of James Eastman, [Exeter-1932] and [US-1900-1b] both agree that Silas’ surname is “Manwaring,” not “Manwarren” as stated in Letter to Robert Stanley Fairbanks from Herbert Warren Tutein.

    [OakGrove-1918] lists Nellie Alice Manwaring’s birth as 27 Nov 1896, but this conflicts with her New Hampshire birth record which lists 28 Nov 1897.

    Nellie Alice (Manwaring) Tutein died in the 1918 Influenza pandemic.

    Nellie Alice Manwaring (born ‘Thompson’) was the 11th child of Loren H. and Isabella Thompson of Stratham, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. She was adopted by Silas and Annie (Eastman) Manwaring under unknown circumstances sometime after June 1900 and is listed as their ‘ward’ in [US-1910-2k].
