1. | Hannah Toothil was born about 1801 in Bury, Lancashire, England, United Kingdom; died after Apr 1861 in (unknown). Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Sources [England-1841d] and [England-1861d] list different locations for Hannah Toothil’s birth—Cheshire for the former and Bury in Lancashire for the latter. The latter is more likely because the 1861 Census of England and Wales recorded the actual county and town of an individual’s birth rather than just affirming that a person was, or was not, born in the county being enumerated as was done in the 1841 census. Hannah married Immanuel Chadwick on 19 Jul 1823 in Mottram in Longdendale, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom. Immanuel (son of Samuel Chadwick and Mary Tomlinson) was born before 19 Sep 1802 in Newton, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom; was christened on 19 Sep 1802 in Mottram in Longdendale, Cheshire, England, United Kingdom; died after Apr 1861 in (unknown). (There are, however, numerous records for “John Chadwick’s”, but all are for individuals born in Lancashire and not in proximity to Stalybridge or the Parish of Mottram in Longdendale.) |
