  An “Alice Frances Masten,” who died on 10 Mar 1916, is found in [SoLAD-2002a]. This is probably the “Alice F Stone[US-1970e]. However, The date of death and age at death both conflict with information from [George-2002]. Additional research is required. [3, 5, 10] The connection of Alice Stone to the family of Catherine Stone is not proven but quite likely based on the age of individuals named “Alice Stone,” known to be living in or around Hinds County, Mississippi in 1870 and 1880.
