| A 10 year old “John A Nelson” is listed as a “boarder” in the household of Warren and Rachel Young (Cole) Eastman in 1880. This is almost certainly John Albert Nelson, the child born to Emily Ann Eastman and John A Nelson in October of 1870. Since Emily used her maiden name in that same census record and listed herself as “single”, her marriage in to the elder John Albert Nelson in 1870 may simply have been to provide legitimacy to her son’s birth. | Nelson, John Albert (I4265)
| A 64 year old “Elisabeth Peirce” is living in the Cole household in Wellfleet in 1860. This may be an aunt of Sabra Doane (Pierce) Cole. | Pierce, Sabra Doane (I1162)
| A 92 year old “A Henchenmaker” (almost certainly Anton Henschenmacher) is living in the Schaefer household in 1860. | Henschenmacher, Maria Agnes (I4154)
| A cemetery receipt for Rienza Cemetery, bearing the names of Frederick and Katherine Bonnell (Lot 150, Section Y), is in the possession of Judith Ann (Bonnell) Lindell. | Bonnell, Frederick John (I7)
| A daughter, Mrs. W. F. Taylor, was the informant for Rufus Franklin Stiles’ certificate of death, but rather than being listed as “widowed” he was listed as single or divorced. | Stiles, Rufus Franklin (I3317)
| A daughter-in-law, Eunice Herndon, is living in the household of Thomas B. and Lillie (Bennett) Herndon during the enumeration of the 1910 US Federal Census. | Herndon, Thomas B (I2247)
| A daughter-in-law, “Eunice Herndon”, is living in the household of Thomas B. and Lillie (Bennett) Herndon during the enumeration of the 1910 US Federal Census. Since Robert Henley Herndon is the only known son of Thomas and Lillie, it is presumed that Eunice is his wife. However, by 1918 on his World War I draft registration form, Robert lists his mother Lillie is his closest living relative rather than Eunice, and during the enumeration of the 1930 US Federal Census, 4 years prior to his marriage to Edna Elizabeth Griffin, Robert lists himself as single. The disposition of Robert’s marriage to Eunice is not know and this presumed marriage is not listed in this database until additional evidence is obtained. | Herndon, Robert Henley (I3856)
| A grand-daughter, Katherine Bevil (age 7) is enumerated in the household of James Augustus Herndon and Flora Gertrude (Bradford) Herndon in 1930. This individual is probably the daughter of May Christine Herndon and her, as yet, unknown spouse named “Bevil”. Further research is required. | Bradford, Flora Gertrude (I2622)
| A granddaughter, “Mary”, is enumerated in the household of Immanuel and Hannah (Toothil) Chadwick during the 1861 Census of England and Wales. The custom of the time was to enumerate an individual in whatever house they slept in the night the census was taken. Consequently, Mary may have been living with her grandparents, or she may have been simply been visiting her grandparents on the evening of 7 Apr 1861. Regardless, this is probably the daughter of Samuel Chadwick, Immanuel and Hannah’s only son. | Chadwick, Immanuel (I4999)
| A granddaughter, “Mary”, is enumerated in the household of Immanuel and Hannah (Toothil) Chadwick during the 1861 Census of England and Wales. | Toothil, Hannah (I5000)
| A James Fairbanks of Hollybrook, County, Sligo, Ireland died 13 Feb 1889 and is listed on the same page as Richard Fairbanks (page 210, entry 17). A different James Fairbanks, age 77, died at Chillagoe, Shire of Woothakata, Queensland, Australia on 19 Sep 1942. He was an Irish immigrant who’s age at death is consistent with the younger brother of John Edward Fairbanks who was known to have emigrated to Australia. it is not yet clear if either of these is James Fairbanks, 3rd son of Richard and Euphemia (Thomson) Fairbanks. Additional emigration and Irish census records need to be located. | Fairbanks, James (I931)
| A marker for Jane (Moore) Duncan is located in the Leroy Moore Family Plot at Douglas Park Cemetery, Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming, but transcribed information from Jane’s obituary indicates that she is buried elsewhere, possibly in Sheridan Cemetery, Sheridan, Wyoming. | Moore, Jane (I5334)
| A niece, “Ethel Fairbanks”, is living in Euphemia (Thomson) Fairbanks’ household in 1901. It is likely, but not yet proven, that this child is the daughter of one Richard Fairbanks’ siblings. | Thomson, Euphemia (I39)
| A photograph of Regina is held by Nancy Ruth Fairbanks. | Stiles, Regina Elizabeth (I751)
| A second 1841 english census return exists for the family of another John and Hannah Morley of Dukinfield, Stockport, Cheshire. However, it has been determined that this is not the family of our Ann Morley because this record lists her as having been born somewhere other than County Chester (‘Cheshire’). Whereas it is known that Ann was, in fact, born in Cheshire--a fact confirmed by numerous sources including [England-1851c]. | Morley, John (I2016)
| A second christening entry exists for Betty Chadwick in [LDS-VRI-1804a] listing James and Phebe Chadwick as her parents. | Chadwick, Betty (I4998)
| A second Rebecca Young exists, born in 1759 to Thomas and Mary Young of Barnstable. But this Rebecca Young appears to have married Dr. John Young in 1776, and in their marriage intention record, although very hard to read, at least one of the individuals appears to has listed themselves as, “…of Eastham”. Consequently, the evidence that our Rebecca Young is the daughter of Jonathan and Rebecca Young of Wellfleet is more likely. | Young, Rebecca (I5132)
| A second set of 1870 census entries may exist for Joseph Hardy and his second wife, Mary (Firth-Chadwick) Hardy. On 11 Aug 1870, a Joseph and Mary Hardy, both born in England and having correct approximate ages, were enumerated in Ward 5, Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts. It appears that they may have been visiting Joseph’s son (by a previous marriage) and daughter-in-law. Joseph and Mary had already been enumerated in June in Pembroke, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, the location of the China Mill where Joseph worked with his son-in-law, Samuel Lowe. | Hardy, Joseph (I46)
| A second set of census entries may exist for Mary (Firth-Chadwick) Hardy and her husband Joseph Hardy. On 11 Aug 1870, a Joseph and Mary Hardy, both born in England and having correct approximate ages, were enumerated in Ward 5, Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts. It appears that they may have been visiting Joseph Hardy’s son (by a previous marriage) and daughter-in-law. Mary and Joseph had already been enumerated in June in Pembroke, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, the location of the China Mill where Joseph worked with Mary’s son Samuel Lowe. | Firth, Mary (I50)
| A son “Harold C. Jenkins”, age 41 (in 1930), was living in the Jenkins household in Exeter in 1920 and 1930. This individual was probably James Kendall Jenkins’ son by his first wife. | Jenkins, James Kendall (I5041)
| A step-daughter, “Johnnie Kendrick”, is listed in the household of Robert Henley Herndon and Edna Elizabeth (Griffin) Herndon in 1940. It is likely that this woman is the daughter of Edna Elizabeth Griffin and a previous husband. | Herndon, Robert Henley (I3856)
| A step-daughter, “Johnnie Kendrick”, is listed in the household of Robert Henley Herndon and Edna Elizabeth (Griffin) Herndon in 1940. It is likely that this woman is the daughter of Edna Elizabeth Griffin and a previous husband. | Griffin, Edna Elizabeth (I5185)
| A woman who appears to be a 54 year old Susan Elliott (Littlejohn) Draper appears in [US-1880-1u] as the wife of Robert Wilkins Draper--despite the fact that both [Anderson-1964] and [Chicota-2002] support a death date of 15 Nov 1867. The latter is particularly convincing as it is “Susan E Littlejohn’s” cemetery monument. For the moment, this database assumes that the census record is incorrect, but a 1870 census record for Lamar County, Texas is needed. | Littlejohn, Susan Elliott (I2103)
| A ‘Mrs. H. Mabry’ (Tennie (Calhoun-Herndon) Mabry) witnessed the marriage of Robert Paul Herndon to Elizabeth Marina Masten in New Mexico in 1932. | Family: Robert Paul Herndon / Elizabeth Marina Masten (F39)
| A ‘Mrs. H. Mabry’ witnessed the marriage of Robert Paul Herndon to Elizabeth Marina Masten in New Mexico in 1932. | Calhoun, Tennie May (I1125)
| A “George W Killips” witnessed the marriage of Oscar A Bonnell and Lucia E Killips. This is probably her older brother. | Family: Oscar A Bonnell / Lucia E Killips (F478)
| A “Sibourne Stiles” is enumerated with his family in Franklin County, Tennessee in 1830. [US-1830a] lists one woman between the ages of 20 and 30 (Rebecca Fincher?) and one woman under the age of 5 (Amanda Stiles?). If this record actually refers to Seaborn Stiles, then the marriage date for Seaborn Stiles and Rebecca Fincher, derived from [Stiles-1998], is almost certainly inaccurate. | Stiles, Seaborn (I736)
