[NGS,1978] incorrectly lists the month and year that Frederich Johannes Tutein immigrated as the date of his naturalization. Tutein, Friedrich Johannes (I185)

[NGS-1978] has name listed as “Fredrik Tutein”. Tutein, Friedrich Johannes (I185)

[NHBoVR-1898a1] indicates that John Albert Nelson’s marriage to Carrie B Dane ended in divorce, but the exact date, place, and circumstances are not known. Family: John Albert Nelson / Carrie B Dane (F3098)

[NHBoVR-1909a1] notes that George W Harvey had been a resident at the New Hampshire State Hospital, an insane asylum, for approximately 2 years at the time of his death. Since this period coincides with the duration of the illness from which he died, it’s likely that the listing of “Paresis” as the cause of death refers to “paralytic dementia”, the neuropsychiatric disorder resulting from late-stage syphilis. Harvey, George W (I4213)

[NHBoVR-1917a1] lists the marriage of Marion G Reynolds to Frank L Eldridge as Marion’s second, and notes that she was a widow. Given this and the timing of the marriage, it may be the case that the child listed as “Dorothy M Eldridge” in [US-1920-1x] may in fact be a daughter by Marion’s first husband. But, to date, no record from the 1910 US Federal census has been discovered to prove this assertion. Adams, Marion G (I4225)

[NHBoVR-1917a] and [US-1920-1x] are in agreement on the approximate year of Marion G Adams’ birth. Adams, Marion G (I4225)

[NHBoVR-1923a1] states that John W. Pettigrew had been a resident of Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire for 25 years at the time of his death, but this is probably just a guess on the part of the recorder. John W. Pettigrew was enumerated with his wife in the 1900 US Federal census in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Pettigrew, John W (I208)

[NHBoVR-1923a1] states that John W. Pettigrew was “81 years, 10 months...” old at the time of his death, putting his birth on 7 Dec 1841. However, this may also be an estimate, and although the month matches the birthdate notation in [US-1900-1s], the year does not. This date is also inconsistent with [NEHGS-1884b] which lists John’s age in 1884 as 37. Pettigrew, John W (I208)

[NHBoVR-1936a] notes that Charles E. Eastman had been a resident of Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire up until one week before his death. This source also notes the location of Charles’ death as “12 Walnut Street” in Exeter which happens to be the address in 1930 of Annie (Eastman) Manwaring and her husband Silas. Therefore, it’s likely that Charles passed away at the home of his younger sister, Annie. Eastman, Charles E (I203)

[NHBoVR-1942a] indicates that, until 3 days before her death, Eliza (“Ida”) Anne (Eastman-Harvey) Pettigrew was a resident of Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, and that Eliza’s death was reported by her son from her first marriage, Arthur S. Harvey. Eastman, Eliza Ann (I202)

[Nix-2000] actually has “Gilmer (Pickens) County, Georgia” for Sarah Jane Bradley’s birth location. Bradley, Sarah Jane (I4440)

[Nix-2000] actually lists Emmett McSmith’s birth date as “BET. 1904 - 1906”. This database, however, lists the earliest date that coincides the birth of Emmett’s older sister Clara. McSmith, Emmett (I4554)

[Nix-2000] has the following note from Richard Nix, attributed to his uncle Vincent Evans Jr., who remembers: “…his father, Vincent Evans Sr. telling him that his first wife Mary Guyton Evans was buried in the Friendship Presbyterian (Puckett's) Cemetery.” Guyton, Mary (I4724)

[Nix-2000] is not clear as to whether James Harvey Evans was born in Gilmer County or Pickens County, Georgia. However, since Pickens County was created from parts of Gilmer and Cherokee counties starting in the late 1850s, this database assumes that James was born in Gilmer County, but lived in Pickens county after 1858. Evans, James Harvey (I4698)

[Nix-2000] is not clear whether Delilah Ann Langford was born in Cleveland or Lincoln County, North Carolina, but given that many of Delilah sisters were born in Cleveland County and that US Federal census records indicate that the family was in Cleveland County, this database uses the former. Langford, Delilah Ann (I2340)

[Nix-2000] is unclear as to whether Dezorus Langford was actually born in Cleveland County or Lincoln County, but since Dezorus’ older sister Delina and younger sister Derinda were both born in Cleveland County, this compilation assumes Dezorus’ was also born in Cleveland County. Langford, Dezorus (I2337)

[Nix-2000] notes that John S. H. McClure probably died in Pickens County, Georgia. McClure, John S H (I4307)

[Nix-2000] notes that Milton H. McClure probably died in Pickens County, Georgia. McClure, Milton H (I4308)

[Nix-2000] notes that this child may be buried in Friendship Presbyterian Church, Puckett's Cemetery in Cartersville, Bartow County, Georgia. Evans, (unnamed) (I4955)

[Nix-2000] originally listed this individual’s given name as “Baby Girl”. Consequently, it is likely that she died as an infant. Evans, (unnamed) (I4719)

[Nix-2000] records that Emmett McSmith died in infancy, before reaching 3 months old. McSmith, Emmett (I4554)

[Nix-2000] records the following, presumably from Christopher Dane Nix’s funeral service: “Christopher Dane Nix - 12 April 1974 - 24 November 1994 Funeral Services - Community Church of Christ, Hendersonville, Tennessee Three O'clock, Saturday, November 26, 1994, Joe Smith and A. D. Rymer, officiating. Interment, Woodlawn East Memorial Park, Hendersonville, Tennessee. Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Hendersonville, Tennessee.” Nix, Christopher Dane (I4763)

[Nolthenius-1998] has birth year as 1794. Tutein, Friedrich Johannes (I185)

[Nolthenius-1998] lists this individuals given names as “Jean Frederic”. Tutein, Johann Friederick (I886)

[OakGrove-1918] lists Milton Gould Robinson’s age as “27 years, 6 months, 26 days,” which makes his birth date 17 Mar 1891. Robinson, Milton Gould (I219)

[OakGrove-1918] lists Nellie Alice Manwaring’s birth as 27 Nov 1896, but this conflicts with her New Hampshire birth record which lists 28 Nov 1897. Manwaring, Nellie Alice (I218)

[Orleans-1967b] has birth at Chelsea, Massachusetts. Tutein, Edith (I67)

[Pleasant-Hill-1856a] lists Nehemiah Cole’s death date as 5 June 1856. Cole, Nehemiah (I1136)

[Pleasant-Retreat-1990a] states that Edith Frances Jordan was born at Shiloh, but it is not clear is this Shiloh, Williamson County (more likely since it is also stated that she was, “…a lifelong resident of the area.”) or Shiloh, Lamar County (less likely). Jordan, Edith Frances (I1532)

[Praefke-2012] has Margaret Pauline Jarvis birth location as Chelsea, Taylor County, Wisconsin. It should be noted that Chelsea and Medford are less than 10 miles apart. Jarvis, Margaret Pauline (I372)

[QDoJaAG-1891b], the birth entry for Elizabeth (Lush) Fairbanks’ daughter Myra, lists four living children: Euphemia (age 7), Ethel (age 6), Lillian (age 4), and James Richard (age 2). With the exception of Ethel, for whom no birth record has yet been found, these correspond roughly to the children that were known to have been alive in 1891. The record also states that there were no deceased children of John Edward and Elizabeth (Lush) Fairbanks. Consequently, Euphemia must be the eldest child who emigrated from the United Kingdom under the name “Eliza”, and Lillian is probably the second or third eldest who emigrated under the name “Mary J”. Being so close in age to Euphemia, Ethel remains unresolved. Lush, Elizabeth (I929)

[QDoJaAG-1891b], the birth entry for John Edward Fairbanks’ daughter Myra, lists four living children: Euphemia (age 7), Ethel (age 6), Lillian (age 4), and James Richard (age 2). Fairbanks, John Edward (I3982)

[Rauls-1998] and [Tetzlaff-2002] disagree the date of Joseph Jerold Jarvis’ death. The former has 10 July 1936. The latter has 9 July 1936. Jarvis, Joseph Jerold (I379)

[Rauls-1998] has birth at Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. But since the family was known to be living Taylor County, Wisconsin as late as 1880, it seems more likely that Joseph Jerold Jarvis was born in Chelsea, Taylor County as listed in [Tetzlaff-2002]. Jarvis, Joseph Jerold (I379)

[Rauls-1998] has birth in 1897 rather than 1894. Rauls, Ann (I353)

[Rauls-1998] has death year as 1894, but this appears to be incorrect. Köpsel, Michael Friedrich August (I404)

[Rauls-1998] has Matthew Rauls burial at “Mt. Olivet”, but it is not know what cemetery this refers to. Rauls, Matthew (I351)

[Rix-1901] does not state that Joseph Fred Eastman was born and died in Parsonsfield, York County, Maine. These facts are inferred from the fact that his parents appear to have lived their whole lives in Parsonsfield. Eastman, Joseph Fred (I3246)

[Rix-1901] has a death date of 12 Dec 1897, but this conflicts with [Herndon-2002m] which lists Timothy Eastman’s death date as 22 Dec 1897. Eastman, Timothy Jr. (I3225)

[Rix-1901] has death at “Empire City, Oregon,” but [USGS] lists no town named “Empire City” in Oregon. The closest match is “Empire.” Lougee, Charles A B (I3240)

[Rix-1901] has Moses S Eastman’s death on 31 Jan 1847. This conflicts with his headstone. Eastman, Moses S (I3228)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1727 Eastman, Annie Maria (I3251)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1064 Eastman, Daniel (I3208)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1065 Eastman, Sarah Knights (I3223)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1066 Eastman, James Monroe (I3224)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1067 Eastman, Timothy Jr. (I3225)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1068 Eastman, Susan (I3226)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1069 Eastman, Mary Ann (I3227)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1070 Eastman, Andrew Jackson (I3230)

[Rix-1901] reference number: 1723 Eastman, Alvin Lougee (I3234)
