 #   Notes   Linked to
This child probably died before reaching adulthood and possibly as an infant since it is not mentioned in any other records. Lindell, (unknown) (I2367)

This database uses the name “Carra Isabel Vaughan”, as recorded in [Stiles-1986], because it corresponds with the name of Carra’s eldest daughter.

Sources [Stiles-1998] and [Patterson-1998] have the name “Carrie Isabel Vaughn”.
Vaughan, Carra Isabel (I724)

This daughter probably died before the birth of her older sister also named Damaris. Hopkins, Damaris (I3802)

This disposition of Mabel Delena Flanagan’s marriage to Jack Edward Perkins is not known. Flanagan, Mabel Delena (I2094)

This individual does not appear in [US-1860-1n], and may in fact be a reference to “Augustus Budahn” son of Heinrich Budahn and Anna Maria (Schulz) Budahn. That individual was Friedrich Budahn’s younger brother. An “August Budahn” Appears in [US-1860-1m]. Budahn, August (I4013)

This individual is a placeholder for the suspected father of most of the Grice children who married in Lowndes county between 1823 and 1841. This man may be the individual who owned a parcel of land adjoining Josiah Todd’s farm/estate, somewhat to the southwest of the parcel owned by Lindsey Baker Grice in 1837. Grice, (unknown) (I3992)

This individual is also referred to by the name “Henry”. Gootee, Harry (I5309)

This individual may be the William Walker who sailed on the Elizabeth in 1635. He was made a freeman of Plymouth Colony, 3 Jun 1656. Walker, William (I3820)

This is the only reocrd of a “Richard Tutein” listed in SSDI, but the birth date (out of sync with the order assumed for Ernest and Edith’s children) and an SSN issued in Ohio both cast doubt on whether this is the correct Richard Tutein. Tutein, Richard Allen (I254)

This spouse of Joseph Hardy is inferred from the presence of a grown son, a wife, and a likely grandchild living in the Hardy household in 1870. Since there is no chance the Joseph Hardy Jr. could have been the child of Joseph Hardy and Mary (Firth-Chadwick) Hardy, Joseph Hardy must have been married once before in England before marrying Mary (Firth) Chadwick and emigrating to the United States. Hardy, (unknown) (I4175)

This “Damaris” is listed in her father’s will and was probably not married at the time as she is referred to by her maiden name. Hopkins, Damaris (I3803)

This “Louisa Koepsel” (Koebsel?) only appears in [US-1870-1l] and likely died as a child before the enumeration of the 1880 US Federal Census. Koebsel, Louisa (I4103)

Thomas Arnold Eslick was a Chief Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. Eslick, Thomas Arnold (I5416)

Thomas Draper Jr. is buried with his wife at his home in Tennessee. Draper, Thomas Jr. (I2150)

Thomas Draper’s will was signed in Aug 1811. Draper, Thomas Sr. (I2144)

Thomas Hendrix Stovall’s parents were George Washington and Elizabeth (Damron) Stovall. Stovall, Thomas Hendrix (I5295)

Thomas Linnell was a resident of Eastham at the time of his marriage to Thankful Hopkins. Linnell, Thomas (I3747)

Thomas W Perrin lists himself as being born in Maryland [US-1870-1n] and Ohio [US-1880-1y]. Perrin, Thomas W (I4192)

Though the gravesite photograph, [Herndon-2002k], does not show the child’s name, the headstone records the age at death as “3 years, 2 months”. This gives a birth date of 9 Dec 1860, exactly the birth date of Irvin Eastman. Therefore we assume that Irvin Eastman died as a child on 9 Feb 1864. Eastman, Irvin (I3253)

Three other children of Nicholas Snow and Constance Hopkins are mentioned in [Austin-1995a] as having been noted by Governor Bradford, but they may have died prior to their father’s death. Family: Nicholas Snow / Constance Hopkins (F2785)

Through about 1925, Mobile, Tyler County, Texas was the location of a saw mill and logging camp situated about 4 miles northwest of the contemporary town of Colmesneil. The settlement no longer exists. Herndon, Kirby (I2649)

Timothy Eastman Jr.’s headstone gives his age at death as, “74 years, 3 months, and 3 days”. This places his birth on 19 Sep 1823, which conflicts with the 18 Sep 1823 date listed in [Rix-1901]. Eastman, Timothy Jr. (I3225)

Timothy Eastman’s headstone gives his age at death as, “81 years, 7 months, and 8 days”. This places his birth on 20 Apr 1788, which concurs with [Rix-1901]. Eastman, Timothy (I2713)

To date, searches of Eastham and Harwich vital records have turned up no supporting evidence for the birth dates and locations of the children (with the exception of Benjamin). Furthermore, the LDS-IGI dates should be treated as suspect since only three (Thankful, Molly, and Fabas) claim to be derived from vital records, and Benjamin, the one child known to have been born in Eastham, is listed as derived from an LDS Patron Sheet. Additional research is required, especially in the Eastham records in [Holbrook,1997b], due to the poor condition of the records. Family: Jonathan Linnell / Priscilla Gould (F2725)

Tobercurry is the civil district in which Euphemia Fairbanks marriage to John George Watson was recorded. It is probably not the actual location of their marriage. Family: John George Watson / Euphemia Fairbanks (F1881)

Traveling under the name ‘Hans Anderberg’, Hans Nilsson embarked from Glasgow, Scotland on or about 10 May 1871 aboard the ship Nova Scotian. Quebec, Province of Quebec, Canada was his port of entry though, obviously, not his final destination. Nilsson, Hans (I1993)

Trinity Block B, Row 3, Lot 36, Grave W2 Lindell, Mina Albertina (I2010)

Trinity Block B, Row 3, Lot 36, Grave W3 Stemsrud, Arne Allan MD (I5291)

Tutein family sources have Rachel F “Lettie” Eastman’s husband listed as “Frank Eldredge” (note the spelling of the surname which seems to be derived from the spelling favored by many of Eldridge family children and grand-children), but numerous census sources and [NHBoVR-1890a1] have this name spelled “Eldridge”. Eldridge, Frank L (I206)

Two of Rachel Young Cole’s siblings, Harriet and Solomon were living in the Eastman home in Chelsea at the time of the enumeration of the 1860 US Federal census. Cole, Rachel Young (I74)

Unlike his elder sister Eveline, Frederick’s surname at birth was listed as “Dean”. However, when he married Liola F. Morse it was listed as “Deane”, and, like his siblings, his used the latter spelling of his surname throughout most of his life. Deane, Frederick W (I4211)

Unlike his elder sisters Eveline and Mabel, Charles’ surname at birth was listed as “Dean”. However, when he married Teresa E. Alden it was listed as “Deane”, and, like his siblings, his used the latter spelling of his surname throughout most of his life. Deane, Charles H (I4212)

Unlike the children born in New York, there is no evidence that Peter and Christina ever lived anyplace in Wisconsin but Fond du Lac. So William and Henry’s birth places are both listed as Fond du Lac. Scheff, Henry (I2183)

Unlike the children born in New York, there is no evidence that Peter and Christina ever lived anyplace in Wisconsin but Fond du Lac. So William and Henry’s birth places are both listed as Fond du Lac. Scheff, William (I670)

Unlike the entry for Samuel Sawyer and Lydia Anders in [Holbrook-1825a], [Holbrook-1825b] does list a pastor. Consequently, it is assumed that this was Samuel and Lydia’s publication of their intention to marry. Family: Samuel Sawyer / Lydia Anders (F2812)

USGS - Geographic Names Information System has three references to towns named “Wilson” in Oklahoma. Atoka County has been used for the marriage of Allen Ross Draper to Dorothy Vandorn and for the birthplace of Donna Jean Draper because of its proximity to Choctaw County, Oklahoma and Chicota County, Texas. Draper, Allen Ross (I2236)

USGS has no reference to a “Duke Station,” Alabama, but does list a town called Duke in Calhoun County, Alabama. Lipscomb, Edward Smith (I2123)
