    Notes:

John George Watson was apparently in the British military in 1901, since [Ireland-1901b1] notes that he was enumerated on “Form H, R. I. C. Barracks, Rathmelton” (“Royal Infantry Company”?). Unfortunately, Form H of the _Census of Ireland, 1901_ is not available through the national archives.

John George Watson and his family’s ultimate destination, as listed in [LaAC-1908a], is “Huntsville, Ont.” which is consistent with their presence in Huntsville for the remainder of their lives.

The birthdate for John George Watson is calculated from the notation of his ‘Age at Death’, “72 years, 11 months, 11 days” in [AoO-1934a]. The birth year, as listed in that source, is 1862.

John George Watson’s parents were John and Mary Ann (White) Watson, both Irish immigrants to Canada.

    Aboard the Lake Erie

John married Euphemia Fairbanks in Jun 1889 in Tobercurry, County Sligo, Ireland, United Kingdom. Euphemia (daughter of Richard Fairbanks and Euphemia Thomson) was born before 1 Jan 1870 in Coolaney, County Sligo, Province of Connacht, Ireland, United Kingdom; died after Jan 1934 in (unknown). Notes:

Tobercurry is the civil district in which Euphemia Fairbanks marriage to John George Watson was recorded. It is probably not the actual location of their marriage.
