He was first discharged on 3 December 1918 and then again (presumably after re-enlistement) on 22 November 1921. Harry married Edna Ellsworth Eastman on 10 Oct 1925 in _______, _______, Maine, United States. Edna (daughter of James Warren Eastman and Mabel Maria Deane) was born on 28 Nov 1894 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; died on 9 Jan 1962 in Manchester, Hillsboro County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried after 9 Jan 1962 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Since [NVBoVR-1894a] explicitly refers to the 6th child of “James W. Eastman” and “Mable M. Dean”, the individual referenced must be Edna Ellsworth Eastman who was known to have been born in Nov of 1894.

6. | James Warren Eastman was born on 17 Oct 1856 in Wellfleet, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States (son of Warren Eastman and Rachel Young Cole); died on 27 Jun 1932 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried after 27 Jun 1932 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Residence: James married Mabel Maria Deane on 22 Jul 1884 in Pepperell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. Mabel (daughter of James A Deane and Marcella M Sinclair) was born on 31 May 1867 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States; died on 22 Mar 1942 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried on 25 Mar 1942 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. 7. | Mabel Maria Deane was born on 31 May 1867 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States (daughter of James A Deane and Marcella M Sinclair); died on 22 Mar 1942 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried on 25 Mar 1942 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Despite numerous census records from the 1800’s that list the family surname as “Dean”, Mabel’s surname at birth, and as used by most of her closest relatives, was “Deane”. This surname is also consistent with Tutein family letters and interviews that refer to the wife of James Warren Eastman as, “Mabel Deane”. Notes: There is considerable confusion about where James W Eastman and Mabel M Dean were married due to the fact that the marriage was recorded in three different Massachusetts localities. Examination of [NEGHS-1884a] and [Townsend-1884a] (two of the three existing records), shows that the marriage was registered in Townsend (James’ residence at the time) on 2 July 1884. The couple was married at Pepperell, Middlesex County, a small town near Townsend, on 22 July 1884, and that the marriage was also recorded at Taunton, Bristol County (Mabel’s residence just before the marriage).

12. | Warren Eastman was born on 19 May 1821 in Parsonsfield, York County, Maine, United States (son of John Eastman and Betsey Day); died on 9 Jan 1908 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried on 11 Jan 1908 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: [Exeter-1908a] and [Exeter-1908] both state that Warren Eastman was the son of John Eastman and Betsey Day of Parsonsfield, York County, Maine, but to date no records have been found to substantiate this. Moreover, LDS IGI has a complete listing of children of John Eastman, and no Warren is listed. It may be the case that Jeremiah Eastman (an elder son of John) and Warren Eastman, are the same man. Warren married Rachel Young Cole on 10 Jun 1849 in Quincy, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. Rachel (daughter of Nehemiah Cole and Sabra Doane Pierce) was born on 12 Jan 1832 in Wellfleet, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States; died on 23 Jan 1916 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried on 24 Jan 1916 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart] |
13. | Rachel Young Cole was born on 12 Jan 1832 in Wellfleet, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States (daughter of Nehemiah Cole and Sabra Doane Pierce); died on 23 Jan 1916 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried on 24 Jan 1916 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Two of Rachel Young Cole’s siblings, Harriet and Solomon were living in the Eastman home in Chelsea at the time of the enumeration of the 1860 US Federal census. Notes: “10 Mar 1849” and “Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts”, derived from [LDS-IGI-1982c], are probably references to the date and location of Warren and Rachel’s registration of their intention to marry... not their actual marriage.

Marcella was born on 26 Apr 1839 in Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States; died on 1 Oct 1905 in Millbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States; was buried on 4 Oct 1905 in Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States.
