2. | Charles E Eastman was born on 28 Aug 1850 in Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, United States (son of Warren Eastman and Rachel Young Cole); died on 7 Nov 1936 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: [NHBoVR-1936a] notes that Charles E. Eastman had been a resident of Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire up until one week before his death. This source also notes the location of Charles’ death as “12 Walnut Street” in Exeter which happens to be the address in 1930 of Annie (Eastman) Manwaring and her husband Silas. Therefore, it’s likely that Charles passed away at the home of his younger sister, Annie. Charles married Mary L Gardner on 9 Sep 1897 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Mary was born in Oct 1854 in Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; died before Apr 1910 in (unknown). [Group Sheet] [Family Chart] |

4. | Warren Eastman was born on 19 May 1821 in Parsonsfield, York County, Maine, United States (son of John Eastman and Betsey Day); died on 9 Jan 1908 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried on 11 Jan 1908 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: [Exeter-1908a] and [Exeter-1908] both state that Warren Eastman was the son of John Eastman and Betsey Day of Parsonsfield, York County, Maine, but to date no records have been found to substantiate this. Moreover, LDS IGI has a complete listing of children of John Eastman, and no Warren is listed. It may be the case that Jeremiah Eastman (an elder son of John) and Warren Eastman, are the same man. Warren married Rachel Young Cole on 10 Jun 1849 in Quincy, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. Rachel (daughter of Nehemiah Cole and Sabra Doane Pierce) was born on 12 Jan 1832 in Wellfleet, Barnstable County, Massachusetts, United States; died on 23 Jan 1916 in Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States; was buried on 24 Jan 1916 in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Two of Rachel Young Cole’s siblings, Harriet and Solomon were living in the Eastman home in Chelsea at the time of the enumeration of the 1860 US Federal census. Notes: “10 Mar 1849” and “Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts”, derived from [LDS-IGI-1982c], are probably references to the date and location of Warren and Rachel’s registration of their intention to marry... not their actual marriage.
