Notes: [Holbrook-1987d] does not actually list Harwich as Priscilla Gould’s birthplace. This is an assumption based on her parent’s marriage and her marriage intention both being registered in Harwich. In addition, she was a resident of Harwich at the time of her marriage to Jonathan Linnell. Notes: Jonathan Linnell and Priscilla Gould entered their intention to marry in the Harwich town records, 30 Nov 1751. Sources that list this date as the marriage date are probably incorrect despite the fact that no supporting evidence has been found for the 9 Jan 1753 marriage date listed in LDS IGI.

In addition, the listed children’s names also come from the will. Thomas married Thankful Hopkins on 6 Oct 1726 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Province of Massachusetts Bay. Thankful (daughter of Stephen Hopkins and Sarah Howes) was born in Apr 1700 in Harwich, Barnstable County, Province of Massachusetts Bay; died before Nov 1754 in Eastham, Barnstable County, Province of Massachusetts Bay.
