However, US census records show no such child ever being enumerated in the Flanagan household. The individual referred to may be, Orin B Flanagan, the son of Clifford and Stella Flanagan of Red River, Texas later the Hugo, Choctaw County area of Oklahoma. The latter is particularly convincing as it is “Susan E Littlejohn’s” cemetery monument. For the moment, this database assumes that the census record is incorrect, but a 1870 census record for Lamar County, Texas is needed.
