1. | Otto Anton Lindell was born on 19 Feb 1877 in _______, _______, Minnesota, United States (son of Ola Nilsson and Ella Lindell); died in 1935 in _______, _______, Minnesota, United States; was buried about 1935 in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church, Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Source [Alden-1888] actually lists Otto Anton Lindell’s birth on 19 Feb 1887 rather than 19 Feb 1877. This appears to be an error, since Otto is listed in the 1880 US Federal Census in his father’s household. |
2. | Ola Nilsson was born on 9 Mar 1844 in Onslunda, Kristianstads län, Sweden (son of Nils Olsson and Marna Svensdotter); died on 2 Oct 1936 in _______, _______, Minnesota, United States; was buried after 2 Oct 1936 in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church, Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Like his younger brother Hans, Ola Nilsson began using the surname “Lindell” sometime after the emigration of his father’s family to the United States in 1872. Ola married Ella Lindell on 7 Nov 1867 in _______, _______, Sweden. Ella was born on 27 Dec 1841 in Onslunda, Kristianstads län, Sweden; died on 27 Mar 1895 in _______, _______, Minnesota, United States; was buried after 27 Mar 1895 in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church, Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. 3. | Ella Lindell was born on 27 Dec 1841 in Onslunda, Kristianstads län, Sweden; died on 27 Mar 1895 in _______, _______, Minnesota, United States; was buried after 27 Mar 1895 in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church, Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: “Lindell” is Ella’s married name. Her maiden name is recorded as “Nelson” in source [Alden-1888], but given that many sources in Minnesota use a woman’s married name in histories and vital records and Nelson is a close variant of “Nilsson”, confirmation of this fact is warranted.

4. | Nils Olsson was born on 3 Mar 1812 in Asum, Kristianstads län, Sweden (son of Ola Nelson); died on 24 Jan 1904 in Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States; was buried on 30 Jan 1904 in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church, Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Nils Olsson, like the rest of his family, took the name “Lindell” sometime around their emigration in 1872. Minnesota State Census records for Meeker County, as well as his gravesite, list his name as “N O Lindell”. The Birth and Death Record for Meeker County has him listed under “Nels Olson”. This database uses the name “Nils Olsson” because this is how he is listed in Swedish birth records for himself and all of his children. Nils married Marna Svensdotter on 17 Jul 1841 in Onslunda, Kristianstads län, Sweden. Marna (daughter of Sven Hansson and Hanna Nilsdotter) was born on 23 Sep 1812 in Onslunda, Kristianstads län, Sweden; died in 1902 in _______, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States; was buried in 1902 in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church, Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. 5. | Marna Svensdotter was born on 23 Sep 1812 in Onslunda, Kristianstads län, Sweden (daughter of Sven Hansson and Hanna Nilsdotter); died in 1902 in _______, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States; was buried in 1902 in First Lutheran Cemetery, Trinity Lutheran Church, Grove City, Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. Other Events and Attributes:
Notes: Along with the rest of her husband’s family, Marna took the name “Lindell” upon emigrating to America in 1872 and she is listed as “Maina Lindell” at her grave site.
